Aneel has opened a public consultation to discuss access to transmission in the context of the expansion of wind and photovoltaic power generation.

The intention is to improve regulation in light of the growing demand for generation projects from these sources, making it compatible with the increasing operational complexity of transmission.

The first phase of the consultation received 266 suggestions, and the second phase presents a new alternative that seeks to reduce costs, use the network more efficiently, and simplify the access process.

The consultation is open for suggestions until June 27th, and those interested can contribute through the link antigo.aneel.gov.br/consultas-publicas.
